Rarely do all of the children with whom we work know what it feels like to blend with the choir in order to create a glorious and unified sound. Helping children discover their voices can be a wonderfully gratifying and life-enriching experience for both the student and the teacher/conductor.  In this session we will address several tried-and-true techniques for exploring, in one-on-one or small group sessions, unlocking each unique and expressive voice.  With the need for many of us to hold small group rehearsals, these ‘games’ afford us an important opportunity to work with singers who will be forever changed by the individual attention.
