  1. Thank you all in Central Services who are working hard on this. I don’t mean any disrespect. Could we rethink the high level issues of printing minutes? At Synod we talked about the need for cost savings and the efficiency of the denomination. Could we rethink how we print these minutes? If I am reading this correctly, three copies are going to be sent to our church address? If I am missing something or reading this incorrectly, I am sorry. Please correct me.

    1. I don’t need any printed minutes. I will always use digital versions. I am sure there are minister who do use the paper copies, but I don’t think the number of ministers who will never use them is insignificant and I think it is growing. Please give us options not to receive a paper copy.
    2. The church does not need three copies! Even one is questionable for our church but three is a waste of money, time, and paper. Maybe one copy to the church is okay but three? If the clerk wants to read the paper version, why can’t he use the church’s copy.

Could we please rethink the high level issue of printing minutes? There seems to be a lot of money, time, and Central Services workload that is going into printing, postage, and sending so many copies of the minutes.

    Respectfully in Christ,

    Ross Durham
