Rev. Charles Mitchell

Charles Lummus Mitchell entered the presence of the Lord this morning, December 7, around 3:00 am. He was 94 years old, having just celebrated his birthday last Friday, Dec 2. Arrangements are yet to be announced.

Rev. Mitchell began his career as a supply pastor in 1949 at Iva ARP Church and Generostee ARP Church. He was the pastor of Old Providence, VA, Fayetteville, TN, Crowders Creek, NC, and Covenant, NC where he retired in 1988. During his retirement, he was the minister of visitation at Ebenezer in Rock Hill, SC. He attended 68 consecutive General Synod meetings.
