Ruth Senneker
Mrs. Ruth Baas Senneker went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Monday morning, January 2nd, 2017. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, working with her husband wherever God sent them. (Serving/Ministering to over 20 Churches as far as Australia). She loved and served everyone she met, to bring glory to God. She now rejoices in God’s presence.
Her statement for her life was: “During my earthly life, I have received all that I needed and now I have all that I ever wanted!” Her favorite Bible verses have always been Proverbs 3: 5-6… “In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”
She leaves behind her husband, Jan, of 57 years; two daughters, Linda Butler (Don, Jr.) of Hamilton, Georgia and Valerie Wingo of Fort Mill, SC along with her beloved grandchildren, Mandy Nivens (Zach Morgan), Harlie Hardage (Charley), Grace Wingo and Brett Butler (Alyse). She also leaves behind one sister, Esther Feikema and her four brothers, John Baas (Arlene), Lee Baas (Carolyn), Marvin Baas (Betty) and Dennis Baas (Donna).
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel and a daughter, Judith; her sister, Pearl Navis and her parents, Walter and Dena Baas.
Services for Mrs. Senneker will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Neely’s Creek ARP Church, 974 Neelys Creek Road, Rock Hill with Rev. Matt Joldersma, Rev. Don Butler, Jr., Rev. Boyce Wilson and Lee Baas officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Thursday at the Church prior to the service.
