Baby Josiah Beard Update

Dear praying family and friends in Christ,

We praise the Lord that Josiah is doing well. He is off of the blood pressure medicine (dopamine) and he is regulating his blood pressure well on his own. They have been able to get his BP through the cuff pressure. The echocardiogram today showed that the PDA has closed! Praise God! It is possible that it can open again, but for now it is closed. Josiah had a blood transfusion today to help with his blood levels. He has another brain scan on Friday.

We give thanks to God for so many answers to prayer and we thank you for your prayers. We thank the Lord for the great care that Josiah is receiving here at the West Penn NICU and ultimately for God’s sustaining and keeping Josiah by His great power and grace.

In Christ Jesus, our healer,
Nathan
