Jimmy Kimmons Retiring
After 30 years of dedicated service to Bonclarken, Jimmy Kimmons, Vice President for Finance and Facilities, will be retiring January 31, 2014. Kimmons has served in numerous areas over the years and has overseen Bonclarken’s financial growth.
“The positive comments we receive each year after our annual financial reviews by our auditors are a testament to Jimmy’s work,” said Bonclarken President Chip Sherer. “He has also done a fine job in the area of facilities, overseeing the Maintenance Department. He has spent hours going behind groups after they depart to be sure the buildings are secure and all utilities are left in satisfactory condition. A search will begin immediately with the hope of having someone in place by January 1, so that our new person will have time to spend with Jimmy as he familiarizes them with our financial systems. Please join me in congratulating Jimmy on a job well done and wishing him the best in the future.”
Teen Writers Needed
The ARP Magazine is starting a teen page in the January issue. If you know of any talented writers in your church please pass this along to them. We would love to have articles of their testimonies, life changing events, tough times, trips, or anything they would like to write about. Send inquiries to Susan Tanner firstname.lastname@example.org.
