Spring High School Retreat 2013
Catawba, First & Second Presbyteries will host their annual spring high school retreat March 1-3 at Bonclarken. This year’s speaker will be Phillip Bunch, associate pastor at First ARP Rock Hill (SC). Free T-shirts are available to churches registering by Feb. 18. Activities this year include bowling, zip line, giant swing, as well as basketball, frisbee golf and soccer tournaments. Prayer Request
Please pray for Jeff Richardson’s trip to Riga, Latvia, Feb.15 through Feb. 23. He will be teaching theology at the Baltic Reformed Theological Seminary and preaching in the church connected with the Seminary. This assignment is through International Theological Education Ministries (ITEM). He is a board member of this missons agency, centered in St. Louis. “Latvia is a post-communist country where the need is great,” Richards said. “Riga is the largest city of the Baltic countries.” Rev. Richards is a member of First Presbytery. He serves as pastor of the New Gilead Reformed Church, Concord, NC.
