ARP News Updates

You are Invited!

images-43The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church will host the 39th meeting of the North American Presbyterian and Reformed Council (NAPARC) November 19-20 at Bonclarken Conference Center. You are invited to attend the evening meal on Tuesday the 19th, after which Dr. Mark Ross will give an address. Please contact Bonclarken to make meal or housing reservations for the evening. Observers are also welcome to attend the business meetings of the Council, which begin at 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon, and continue through Wednesday afternoon.

NAPARC is made up of twelve member churches that confess Jesus Christ as the only Savior and the Sovereign Lord over all of life, and are fully committed to the Bible in its entirety as the Word of God written, without error in all its parts, and to its teaching as set forth in the historic Reformed standards (the Three Forms of Unity and the Westminster Standards). The purpose of NAPARC is to facilitate discussion and consultation between member bodies on those issues and problems which divide them as well as on those which they face in common; promote the appointment of joint committees to study matters of common interest and concerns; exercise mutual concern in the perpetuation, retention, and propagation of the Reformed faith; promote cooperation wherever possible and feasible on the local and denominational level in such areas as missions, relief efforts, Christian schools, and church education.

Something new is coming!!!

images-41The 2014 ARP Plan Book has a new name arp365

and is available on arp365.orgarpchurch.org and in The ARP Magazine.

Let us help with the transition from printed to electronic calendar:

  • If you rely on the directory pages of the Plan Book, did you know that the same information is located in the Minutes of Synod?
  • If you rely on the hard copy of the calendar to write on, you’ll be able to print it yourself from the website free (or) we’ll be happy to supply a printed copy of calendar pages with the dates of ARPC events. The printed copy (calendar pages only) will be available from the ARP Bookstore ($2 each plus shipping and handling). Contact CEM at 864-233-2491 or arpbookstore.com
  • If you rely on the information pages for more details about events or birthday listings, you only have to subscribe to The ARP Magazine (www.arpmagazine.org) or send us your email address to receive the ARP News Update. Contact Susan Tanner (stanner@arpsynod.org).

If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Scott cscott@arpsynod.org (or) 864-232-8297 ext. 221
