Family Bible Conference

Greetings in the name of Christ!
It is with great joy that we invite you to come and join us for Family Bible Conference 2022, July 25-28. We are grateful to the Bonclarken Conference Center for continuing to host this week of teaching, rest, and fellowship. For many years, our annual Family Bible Conference has provided a week of growth in God’s grace, fellowship with God’s people, and meaningful study of God’s Word. We expect and are praying for that to continue as the Lord leads in the days ahead.
Many of you have a long history with FBC and know the joy of being a part of this gathering. If so, come and delight once again in this time together so that we can learn from your experiences. Perhaps you only have a short history with the conference and are eager to experience more. If that is the case, plan to be here this year as we learn more about each other and God’s Word. Or maybe you have never been but have wondered what it is all about. Let me tell you what you can expect:
  • Deep and faithful teaching in the Word of God.
  • Encouraging fellowship with God’s people from all corners of the ARP (and beyond!).
  • Time with your loved ones as you discuss what you have learned.
  • A children’s and youth program that guards covenant faithfulness dearly.
  • A week of refreshment in the mountains of NC, with access to lots of adventures!
This year’s theme book is the book of Revelation. In this letter from the Apostle John to the seven churches in Asia Minor we read of the glories and victory of Christ, the majesty of God’s being, and the delight God’s people can claim in God’s provision. We also read of the trials and tribulations of God’s people and the difficulty that is the reality of life on this side of eternity.
With this, our goal and focus for FBC 2022 will be to answer the question, “How does the book of Revelation guard and guide me in faithfulness today?” I have heard the question asked, “Why does understanding Revelation matter – isn’t Jesus going to do what he wants anyway?” That is precisely the point, isn’t it? Why does understanding Revelation matter? Because understanding and knowing Jesus matters and Revelation is part of his Word to us!
Registration is OPEN NOW! You can follow the link above or CLICK HERE to register. One of the difficult decisions we had to make this year was to slightly increase the cost of registration. That said, the cost is still very low:
  •       $35/Day/adult and $100 for the whole week ($85 if you register by May 31st!).
  •       $30/week/child (and you only pay for the first three children!).
  •       NOTE: Bonclarken housing reservations must be made directly through Bonclarken.
One final thing – there have been some delays in planning/approvals as part of the restructuring process, but we expect to make announcements about our conference speakers very shortly!
We hope and pray that you are looking forward to Family Bible Conference as much as we have enjoyed putting the various plans in place. We are looking forward to seeing you and rejoicing in God’s goodness together!
May the Lord bless and keep you in all faithfulness,
Rev. Andrew Di Iulio
FBC Director

Appalachia

The Appalachia mission trip will be July 2-8, 2022. This missioin trip allows the opportunity to share the gospel with children in the Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia mountains through planning and carrying out a VBS program at a site secured for you.
Students registering for the Mission Trip must have completed the 9th grade (exceptions made on an individual basis). Each group needs to form a team with a minimum of 11 students and 3 adult leaders. The leaders will train the students to have a week long Bible Club for a church in the Appalachia area. It is also strongly recommended that you provide an adequate number of both male and female chaperones for your team. We will help to match your group up with a church if you have never attended. If your group cannot form an entire team (11 students & 3 adults), we will help you partner with another group.
Registration is due May 31st for your group. The total cost per person is $280.00. We will stay at Camp Jubilee in Tazwell, Tennessee To register your group, please complete and send in the “Group Registration Form” included in the information packet or register online on or before April 25. After April 25 the total fee will be $305.00 per person with late fee. For more information and to register click here.
