Mississippi Valley Presbytery met Monday and Tuesday of this week. James Ritchey’s sermon was well received by the Mississippi Valley Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and he successfully completed his floor exam. A call was approved and extended to James to be ordained and installed as Associate Pastor of River City Reformed Church in Pottsville, AR in November.
Second Presbytery Women’s Ministries invites women of all ages to attend our annual conference on October 16th at Devenger Road ARP Church in Greer, SC! We will be hearing from Wendy Herrmann Smith, writer for the ARP Sunday School curriculum, on the theme “Count It All Joy”, and from various speakers covering topics such as loss and grief, the way of welcome, missions in Germany, and more! Our time begins at 9:30AM and will end at 2PM. Lunch is provided! And you won’t want to miss our closing session where we will be installing and praying for the incoming leaders. Join us for this special time of fellowship and teaching from, and with, women from Second Presbytery!
