Arsenal Hill Presbyterian in Columbia, SC was reorganized as a church of Catawba Presbytery on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
The Arsenal Hill Presbyterian Church was founded in 1886.  In 2016 Arsenal Hill became a church plant/revitalization work.
Arsenal Hill has been blessed with open doors to share the good news of Jesus with the international community and welcome refugees.   Please continue to pray for Arsenal Hill as they transition from a mission to an organized church, and pray for Rev. Rob Turner and the two elders who were installed on Sunday.

Julia Hardeman Rhodes Award

The Board of Christian Education Ministries, in conjunction with ARP Women’s Ministries, sponsors the annual Julia Hardeman Rhodes Award. This award is given to an ARP recipient who has been recognized for excellence in service in an area of Christian Education such as Women’s Ministries, teaching, youth leadership, volunteering efforts, etc.

Julia Hardeman Rhodes was a passionate and tireless advocate of creating awareness and action in connecting ARPs across the denomination. In her honor, this award is to be presented annually to a deserving recipient, male or female, who has demonstrated excellence in service and dedication in the ARP Church, reflecting the heart of Julia Hardeman Rhodes.

Pre-Synod

Outreach North America is hosting a Pre-Synod Evangelism Conference on Monday, June 6 in the Bonclarken Chapel. The keynote speaker is Dr. Randy Newman who will speak about how to talk about your faith and engage with unbelievers wisely, whatever their attitude towards the Christian faith. While this conference is free, they ask that you register here.
