We received word that Dr. Joseph Franklin (Frank) Beard passed away yesterday, March 16, 2021. Dr. Beard was a retired minister in Catawba Presbytery. He served on numerous boards and committees and was instrumental in helping to organize Florida Presbytery. He served in the following churches: Gilead ARP in Gilead, NC; Avon Park in Florida; Covenant Church in Statesville, NC; Highlands ARP Church in Atlanta, GA; Dutch Fork in Irmo, SC; and Rowan Church in Lugoff, SC.
