Pray for Former Moderator Leslie Holmes’s wife, Barbara, who is having open heart surgery Thursday morning, January 28. She will have two heart valves replaced and a third one repaired in a four to six hour surgery. Due to Covid, there are no visitors, including family, throughout her hospital stay. They are grateful for your prayers.

I am praying for Barbara and for Leslie and the family also. Leslie was my pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, PA quite a few years ago. My husband worked with him as the media director and we hold both Leslie and Barbara in high regard. May God’s Spirit guide Barbara’s care today and bring swift recovery and full strength to her in the coming days!
