Rachel Spencer
We wanted to let you know of the passing of Rachel Spencer, 100 of Statesville, NC. Mrs. Spencer was the mother of former ARP Minister, Rev.Eddie Spencer, and a former Bonclarken Music Conference Director (1983 and 1984). Mrs. Spencer was the long-time Director of Music at Covenant ARP Church in Statesville.
Mrs. Spencer’s service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00pm with visitation at 12 noon before the service at Covenant ARP Church in Statesville, NC.
Please click here to see an ARP Magazine article published in 2022 when she was 96 years old. She just turned 100 years old and was still playing the piano at her assisted living. She was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior.

Rev. Bob Dewitt
Former ARP Minister, Rev. Bob Dewitt, passed away yesterday, December 19, following a recent diagnosis with advanced cancer. Dewitt was a pastor in the ARP denomination for years, serving at Lake Placid, First Statesville, and Shiloh ARP. He moved into the PCUSA until retirement. Please be in prayer for his family during this time.
