Thanksgiving Offering and More

Thanksgiving Offering

Twice each year, at Thanksgiving and Easter, the ARP Church collects a special offering to support some of the ministries of our denomination. The Thanksgiving Season Special Offering is for the benefit of:

Christmas Benevolent Fund – A longstanding ministry of the ARP Church, this fund provides monetary gifts to retired ARP ministers and widows of retired ministers. One hundred percent of your gift is passed on to these men and women who have faithfully served our denomination.

Outreach North America – This agency of our denomination assists in the planting of new ARP churches and the revitalization of existing congregations.

Erskine Theological Seminary – As our church’s only institution of theological education, the seminary equips men and women for Gospel service through a variety of master and doctoral-level programs of study.

The American Bible Society – This organization strives to make Bibles available to people throughout the world.

Be on the lookout for information at your church on how to give or click here to give online and pick Thanksgiving Offering from the dropdown menu.

Tropical Storm Updates

Tropical Storm Nicole made landfall in Florida. Here is the latest update from Rev. David Walkup at Chapel By The Sea in Melbourne Beach, FL. I will update as I hear anything else. Please be in prayer for those in the path of this Tropical Storm.
All is well at Chapel By The Sea.  No damage at the church (a small amount of water seeped in the front doors).  As usual, the back parking lot is flooded because of the river/canal overflowing (this happens every hurricane but causes no damage to the Chapel). The manse is fine, the power went out about 11:30pm last night.
