What ARPs are Saying About Their Church

To continue the February theme of “Love your Church,” here are what some ARPs sent in sharing what they love about their church.

I love being a part of the ministry of the “Ladies of the Creek” at Neely’s Creek ARP Church, Rock Hill, SC. We share in the joys of life (marriages, births) and we seek to encourage during the sad times. We happily provide food for church events and celebrations. We recently went on retreat at Bonclarken and returned with 50+ BEST FRIENDS! I love our community of ladies of all ages and in all stages of life! 1 Peter 4:9-10 – Offer hospitality to one another. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.  Jennie Costner

My wife and I have been attending Arsenal Hill ARP Church, Columbia, SC, for a few years now, and we absolutely love the work that God is doing through the church and the ministry of Rev. Rob Turner (an ARP lifer!). For us, the church community has been a safe harbor after the tumult of the last few years. At Arsenal Hill, we can experience sound biblical teaching combined with a dynamic emphasis on gospel outreach to people of all backgrounds in our community. It has also been a respite for many others, and God has blessed us in this outreach.  Dr. Brian Mesimer

White Oak ARP Church, Senoia, GA, celebrated its 175th anniversary. My husband and I both serve on Missions and Christian Education Committees, pouring our retirement life energy and experiences into this local church. God is faithful and good! Melinda Hemphill

I would love to hear from you about what is happening at your church. Why do you love your church? Why do you love this denomination? What is one ministry that you are so excited to be a part of? As a lifelong ARP, I love this denomination and I love my job. I get to share with others how God is at work in this denomination. I look forward to hearing from you! Email, call, or text.
